Linda Tang will be teaching from the Book of Acts. It will be a discussion on the key themes from the Acts. Join us as we follow and reflect on the acts of the apostles learning how the Holy Spirit empowered those whom God called to share the life-changing message of Yeshua’s resurrection and Messiahship. Through select scriptures, questions and interactive discussion, we will study the early church’s beginnings in spite of severe opposition and persecution at that time. What might God be saying to you through the acts of those who faithfully witnessed the truth about Yeshua to those around them? What is our role in presenting these same truths to others? What can you do to increase the awareness of God’s hand in the events of your life and in the life of those around you? As we study the missions and ministries of the apostles, let’s see what God wants to reveal to each of us.
Beth Ariel elder, Chris Melisko, will be teaching a class based upon the popular book, Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus by Ann Spangler and Lois Tverberg. This class will provide a fascinating and enlightening tour of the Jewish world of our Lord, offering inspirational insights that can transform and enrich your faith. Learn more about the prayers, feats, history, culture, and customs that shaped Yeshua and those who followed Him. Hear the parables as they must have sounded to first-century Jews, powerful and surprising. Watch with new understanding as the events of Yeshua’s life unfold. Emerge with new excitement about the roots of you faith. We guarantee that you will never read the Scriptures the same way again after taking this class!
Beth Ariel elder, Jerry Gross, will be teaching our Level One seminar on Membership over the course of four Sundays. In this very important seminar, we define a Messianic congregation, discuss the unique position of the Jewish believer in the Body of Messiah, our purpose statement, our vision, why we exist, our faith statement, our five-fold strategy, and what it means to become a member of Beth Ariel. If you are considering membership, we strongly encourage you to take this seminar; or, perhaps you just need a refresher. If so, this is the class for you.
Beth Ariel elder, Bob Pierce, will be teaching our Level Two seminar over the course of four Sundays with the focus being on maturation in the faith. The key underlying texts for this seminar are Col. 4:12, “That you may become mature believers and that you may fulfill God’s will for you” and Eph. 4:14-15, “We are not meant to remain as children but to grow up in every way into Messiah.” The famous baseball player, Chili Davis, once said, “Growing old is mandatory; growing UP is optional.” we all need to be “growing up” in the faith and in this class we will concentrate on four “habits of spiritual maturity” – spending time with God through His Word, prayer, giving and fellowship. If you’ve never taken this seminar (which is a follow-up to Level One), we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity!
We will see how Yeshua, the Messiah, the Son of God, is revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures — the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings — also known as the “Tanach”. Starting in Genesis, we’ll see how God revealed Himself and His Son to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and others, and unveil the identities of the “Angel of Jehova” and Malkizedek. In our study, we’ll explore the original Hebrew words of the Scripture and try to understand their true meaning. We will see the many proofs to the divinity of Yeshua, who said, “Me and My Father, We are One” (John 10:30). So come and join me in this journey through the Word of God to discover what is written about Him.
Taught by Sean Rutledge & Suzy Morgan

During the month of November, we studied creation from the book of Genesis and John. The class worked on their own representations of the creation learning what was created on each day. At the end of our series we learned about Shabbat and finished with a glow-in-the-dark necklace reminding us that “darkness could not overcome the light”, John 1:1-5.
For the first two weeks of December we will be learning about the story of Hanukkah from both the Old and New Testaments. We will be understanding how Yeshua is the light of the world and how the Jewish people fought against idolatry and honored God. We will be making our own Kanukiah that the children will be able to use during this holiday season (nine post candelabra).
During the last two weeks of December, we will be learning about the announcements and birth of our Messiah-Yeshua. We will be making our own nativity sets from Macaroni …
