Who is the Messiah?
We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth is the Messiah, God made manifest in the flesh (John 1:1-14; 1 Timothy 3:16)
He was born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:34) and lived a sinless life (II Cor. 5:21).
He died for us as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (Psalm 22; Isaiah 53; 1 John 4:10), was resurrected bodily from the dead after three days (Psalm 16:10-11; Matt12:39,40; 1 Cor. 15:4), and has ascended to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19) where He is now our Great High Priest and advocate (Hebrews 1:3; I John 2:1).
Yeshua will return physically as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to reign over the earth (Zechariah 14, Acts 1:9-11, and Revelation 19:11-16).
