Our Uniqueness

Our Uniqueness

At Beth Ariel we are sensitive to the needs, backgrounds, and special struggles of the Jewish believer. At the same time, we provide an exciting (and often enlightening) home for Gentile believers who desire to more fully appreciate the Jewish roots of their faith. We incorporate a creative approach to worship that reflects New Covenant teachings through the richness of Jewish culture as expressed in its history, holidays, and music. We embrace the mandate to communicate the message of Messiah to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.

As a Messianic congregation, Beth Ariel has unique and specific emphases (in contrast to the broader Body of Messiah):

  • Expressing Jewish cultural forms at regular worship services
  • Observing the feasts and holidays of Israel in a biblical and Messiah-centered manner
  • Identifying with the Jewish people at large
  • Rekindling the understanding of the inherent Jewish roots of faith in Yeshua
  • Witnessing to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile (Rom. 1:16)
  • Maintaining a Messianic Jewish remnant as a witness to God’s faithfulness to Israel
    (Rom. 11:1-6)
